Robert Cockroft
Robert Cockroft was born in Huddersfield in 1951. He is a music graduate of London University and his organ teachers have included Virginia Black and Gordon Stewart. A newspaper editor by profession, he has also written on music (and food!) for various publications including the Guardian, Classical Music and the Yorkshire Post. He is currently the editor of the Barnsley Chronicle and lives with his family in West Yorkshire.
