UP GOOD CHRISTEN FOLK AND LISTEN, Four voice parts

A lively unaccompanied carol written to the text by G R Woodward.

This piece was the winner of the first carol competition held in 2008 by the Chapter House Choir of York Minster. The judges were Andrew Carter, the choir's founder, and the Musical Director, Stephen Williams. It was first performed in the Carols by Candlelight concerts in December of that year and broadcast on Radio 2 on Christmas Eve. It is due for release on the choir's forthcoming Christmas CD.
