This piece was written for the new organ at St Catherine’s School, Bramley, Guildford, and
first performed at the inaugural recital, 2nd October 2015. The instrument was donated to the
School by Evelyn Greaves (to whom the piece is dedicated), to encourage all the girls
studying the organ, including the Jennifer Bate Organ Scholars, and to increase the resources
for the annual Jennifer Bate Organ Academy.
