It was an extended production number in the 20th Century Fox film Sun Valley Serenade and opens with a dialogue between a passenger and a shoe shine boy: ‘Pardon me, boy, is that the Chattanooga Choo-Choo?’ ‘Track 29!’ ‘Boy, you can give me a shine.’ It starts with a lively and infectious call and response style texture between the parts before all join in a rhythmic pace.
