"Fish Jubilate is a joyful and exuberant setting of the jubilate text, for SATB and organ. Toccata-like organ textures are underpinned by bold, triadic harmony, to create what I hope is an expressive and uplifting overall effect.
It was commissioned by St-Mary-at-Hill church, Billingsgate, for their Fish Harvest service 2012, an annual service where the parish church celebrates its ties to the old Billingsgate Fish Market.
It seemed in keeping with the spirit of the piece for it to be known by its full title." THJ
