REVIEW:
"Popular Music for Student Concerts ...
The seven vignettes that make up this collection are all in an easy-listening, jazz-infused style. The energetic 'Scherzo in Five' is the most familiar as it is already set for Trinity grade 6. This is the most challenging of the set. The other movements all have differing characteristics ranging from the laid back 'Sicilienne for a Summer Evening' with its gentle one-in-a-bar feel, to the 'Crazy Calypso' which has a smaller note range but is more rhythmically driven. Any would make a great choice for a student concert and would be popular with everyone." Chris Hankin, Just Flutes
